Acceptable Use Policy

You may use Pinkk for lawful purposes that are consistent with its design as an intelligence research tool. Examples of permitted use include:

• Researching creators, brands, or affiliates as part of a business due diligence, partnership evaluation, or vetting process.
• Producing internal intelligence reports for your own organisation's decision-making.
• Using the public verification feature to confirm the authenticity of a Pinkk report you have received.
• Accessing the platform's API to integrate report generation into your own internal workflows, subject to the API terms in section 5.
• Sharing report outputs with clients or colleagues, subject to the restrictions in section 4.

All use must comply with these rules, our Terms of Service, and applicable law.

When you submit a social media handle, website URL, or other identifier for analysis, Pinkk retrieves and processes publicly available data about that subject. You are responsible for the data you submit. Specifically:

Scope of the platform. Pinkk is designed exclusively for researching businesses, brands, operators, affiliates, and content creators who maintain a public-facing digital presence in a professional or commercial capacity. It is not a consumer research tool, a people-search engine, or an OSINT aggregation service. All analysis is based solely on publicly available signals and is intended to support commercial due diligence, partner vetting, and market research. Do not use this platform to research private individuals outside a legitimate business context.

• Lawful basis. Where required by applicable privacy law — including GDPR, UK GDPR, or POPIA — you must have a lawful basis for submitting personal data about a third party. If you are a business using Pinkk for due diligence, your legitimate interest in that research is typically sufficient; if you are unsure, seek legal advice.
• No sensitive data. Do not submit inputs designed to extract, infer, or report on sensitive categories of personal data — including health, biometric, genetic, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or criminal history — about any individual.
• No private individuals. Pinkk is designed for researching public-facing digital presences: creators, brands, companies, and affiliates who have voluntarily established a public profile. Do not use the platform to research private individuals who have not made their information publicly available in a professional or creator context.
• No stalking or harassment. Do not submit profiles for the purpose of tracking, monitoring, or gathering information about a specific individual for personal, domestic, or non-commercial reasons unrelated to legitimate business due diligence.
• Accuracy of inputs. Do not deliberately submit false, misleading, or fabricated inputs intended to produce a misleading report about a subject.

The following are strictly prohibited:

Reports and analysis outputs generated by Pinkk are intended to support your internal decision-making. You may share reports with colleagues, clients, or stakeholders in the ordinary course of your business, subject to these rules:

• Always make clear that the report was generated by Pinkk and that it represents intelligence analysis, not verified fact or professional advice.
• Do not alter or edit report content in a way that misrepresents the findings or removes important caveats and confidence qualifiers.
• Do not use outputs as the sole basis for consequential decisions about individuals — particularly in regulated contexts such as employment screening, financial assessments, or legal proceedings — without independent verification.
• Share links are token-gated and can be revoked at any time. You are responsible for controlling who has access to your share links and for revoking them when no longer needed.

Nothing in these rules prevents you from referencing, quoting, or summarising report findings in your own documents or presentations, provided the source is acknowledged and the limitations of AI-generated analysis are not obscured.

API access is available to eligible subscribers. All API use is subject to this AUP, the Terms of Service, and any rate limits and usage quotas associated with your plan.

• API tokens are credentials — treat them like passwords. Do not expose them in public repositories, client-side code, or browser environments.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API token. Revoke and replace tokens immediately if you suspect they have been compromised.
• Do not use the API to build a competing intelligence or analysis product that substantially replicates the core functionality of Pinkk.
• Automated pipelines that submit large volumes of analysis requests must respect rate limits. Deliberately engineering requests to evade rate limiting is prohibited.
• API access may be suspended or throttled if your usage patterns pose a risk to platform stability or indicate policy violations.

Team owners are responsible for ensuring that all team members comply with this AUP. If a team member violates this policy, the team owner's account may be subject to enforcement action.

• Only invite individuals who have a legitimate need to access the team workspace.
• Remove team members promptly when they no longer need access.
• Do not create team member accounts for the purpose of granting access to individuals who would otherwise be ineligible for the Services.

The referral program and bonus codes exist to reward genuine sharing. The following are prohibited:

• Creating fake or duplicate accounts to generate referral credits for yourself.
• Sharing referral codes in a misleading way — for example, in spam, unsolicited messages, or with false claims about what the recipient will receive.
• Exploiting technical errors or unintended behaviour in the referral or bonus code system to accumulate credits beyond what is legitimately earned.

We monitor referral patterns for suspicious activity and reserve the right to withhold or claw back credits obtained through abuse.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take action proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. Enforcement actions may include:

• A warning and request to stop the offending conduct.
• Temporary suspension of your account or specific features.
• Permanent termination of your account without refund.
• Clawback of credits obtained through policy violations.
• Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law or where the violation involves illegal activity.

We will try to contact you before taking action where it is safe and practical to do so, but we reserve the right to act immediately where the violation is serious or ongoing.

Enforcement decisions are made by Pinkk at our sole discretion. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact us to request a review using the contact details in section 9.

If you believe another user is violating this policy, or if you have concerns about how the platform is being used, please contact us using the link below. Include as much detail as you can — the nature of the concern, the account or content involved, and any supporting context. We take reports seriously and will investigate in good faith.

We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
